Dracula’s Ball

It’s been 25 years! Join us for our special Anniversary event!
Electro-industrial act Ayria was formed in 2003 by Canadian singer-songwriter Jennifer Parkin. For two decades now, listeners have been hooked on her driving bass synths, addictive stompy beats and melancholic vocals. Unapologetically feminine in aesthetic, Ayria is gearing up for an exciting 2023 with the “Battle Cry” tour.
In 2022, Ayria released her sixth full-length album and Artoffact Records debut, This is my Battle Cry, signalling the beginning of a brand new era, showcasing a slick, more mature sound while still giving a nod to Ayria’s previous ear-candy laced works. The album features 10 new tracks including the addictive songs “Stranger Danger,” “No One Asked You,” and the intensely dark title track “Battle Cry”. Ayria has performed throughout the USA, Europe, The UK, Japan, Russia and Mexico showing that the appeal of this act has stood the test of time, far and wide.
Singer/guitarist Matt McIntosh and bassist Beth Narducci formed A Cloud of Ravens in the autumn of 2018, and the band quickly made a name for itself in the burgeoning contemporary dark music scene.
The 2021 full-length album Another Kind of Midnight was praised for its merging of classic and contemporary post-punk and darkwave sensibilities, poetic use of prose, and metaphor in expressing the trials and joys of a world torn by a pandemic and moral tribalism. A Cloud of Ravens’ most recent album ‘ LOST HYMNS ‘ was released by Schubert Music Europe’s Nexilis imprint, and is now proudly being brought to North American audiences by Metropolis Records.
From their inception in 2009, the core root of Bestial Mouths has combined Lynette Cerezo’s voice with myriad genre influences across the spectrum of goth, industrial, post-punk, New Wave, noise, metal, and other underground sounds using live acoustic and electronic drums and analog synthesizers. The band’s 2023 release, R.O.😭. (inmyskinn) is the culmination of Cerezo’s entire path thus far, from BESTIAL’s reimagining and in through the Plague Era: a sound forged through a looped cycle of pattern and repetition, of start/stop hopes tunneling beneath your skin, only to be trapped in the same patterns. Teetering toward the light, yet always drawn backwards into the darkness of reality. Produced by Rhys Fulber, R.O.😭. (inmyskinn) explores more minimalistic aspects of the broad palette of pop, peeling back the rawness to reveal polished, gleaming bone. The result is a resonant work that cries out for the dance floor.
DJ Cypher and DJ Stygian will be attending to all of your dancefloor desires.
